Herbal Medicine Day September 28 from 10 to 4. $65

Lunch is potluck and herbs are the theme!

This is a day of learning about medicinal plants! If you are interested in using herbal medicine in your own home, growing herbs, making herbal remedies, and using plants to increase your wellness and vitality, this day is for you.

We start the day with a meet and greet where we will meet one another and the medicinal herbs. We get to taste test all the teas and all supplies including a manual will be provided. We will break for a potluck lunch and then take a walk in the garden to meet plants growing around us.

In the second half of the day we will learn the basics of medicine making and using herbs for different ailments. We will cover medicinal teas, oils, tinctures, and decoctions. Class is from 10am to 4pm and is lead by Community Herbalist and Wellness Education Kristen Prosen. You can learn more about Kristen at This class costs $65 for the day and includes all herbs, materials, samples, and course manual.
